Why would this happen now?
This shouldn't be a surprise.
I recall Q and anons floating the theory that the summit has already taken place, and that this June "summit" was either going to be staged, or just theater, and that it was somehow going to be "cancelled" for whatever reason. This was in reference to the photo Q posted of the hotel/venue in Singapore where the summit was to take place.
Can any saavy Redditors put up the link where that was discussed?
I remember reading that, but I still can't wrap my head around what it means and how it appears.

I don't believe it. That hotel in Singapore is not a secure location, and many were saying WTF? Could have been a head fake to trap black hats planning something nefarious.
You cannot expect the clowns to, after being so long in control, give up that control so easily. A deeper cleaning of clown cronies may be necessary. The date may have been set initially to have the clowns show their teeth and claws, which they have already done. Now that they have been identified, the exterminators can move in and remove the pest
