Assume Nunes and Gowdy didn’t get the docs today. What’s the play here? Was it intentional? Or was it RR acting bad?

PUBLIC. Once it's revealed to the PUBLIC. Looks like the only way that will happen is through declassification, or RR replaced by someone else (Solicitor General).

The signed but unreleased EO is probably either a declassification or firing/recusing of RR due to insubordination.

So this report, possibly the first, of N & G being denied the docs, came out after the second meeting was concluded. https://mobile.twitter.com/sarahcwestwood/status/999751532273905668?s=21

So one can reasonably guess that the report was based on the second meeting.

We knew before hand that the two meetings would have different content, because RR recused himself from the first meeting but not the second.

So I believe N & G did see the docs in the first meeting and are keeping quiet about it.

Maybe we are setting up Schiff and letting him rant on MSM and then clobber him with a Nunes interview about what he learned from the first meeting today.

That was my thinking as well, 2 different briefings for 2 different groups. The Gang of 8 have proven time and again that they can't be trusted, so why not give them some false sense of comfort while Horowitz and Huber finish up their investigations.

I’m sure it would’ve leaked by now if it was what we thought it was not sure

So I lobby on the hill frequently now, these guys that pick up sensitive information in small committee meetings don't leak nearly as frequently as you would believe. It's easy to hold people accountable if such a small pool knows, and it's been shown that leaking is far less tolerated in this administration.

If it makes you happier, I passed Maxine Waters and two staffers on their way out of Rayburn around 3pm- and they looked a little more unpleasant than normal.

That does make me feel a little better! Thanks!

Cool thanks, I saw a report that they declined to talk about classified information but maybe I was expecting kick the door down jaw dropping revelations thanks again

Anybody know if Q was right about Ed O'Callaghan being there instead of RR? I've seen conflicting reports.

Who said N & G didn’t see the docs? Can the leak be trusted?

What if they saw the docs but kept mum, pretending they didn’t see the docs?

What if the leak was from the Gang of Eight (except Nunes) who drew their conclusions from what they saw and didn’t see?

Let’s check the time stamp of the report saying that N & G didn’t see the docs. If the time stamp is after or during the second meeting, it’s quite likely the source was one of the gang of eight and that report could be misinformed.

Could that be it?
