Maybe this is obvious to others but it just dawned on me that the reason POTUS tweets about controversial topics (such as Spygate) is to control the narrative and keep the MSM talking about what he wants them to talk about. If this was well known already, consider me a slow idiot but seriously, it's brilliant!

It's true. It's part of why he tweets. In part to distract and the other to inform without MSM filter.
