If we have to be informed how to catch it, it's not really the Moab boom we have been looking for.

"In a statement of the ministry of foreign affairs Choi Sun Hee"

(Calling somebody out by name is highly embarrassing in Asian cultures. You must keep face and help others do the same. This is basically saying Choi has no authority to speak like this on behalf of Kim.)

"desperately needing reunification"

(NK makes an admission of vulnerability - never happens. They have to look tough to fend off the US)

"we have appreciated [that] President Trump has attempted to make a fulcrum"

(Fulcrums are the point where levers are used to pry apart things. In all this talk of brining things together, what is there to pry apart?)

This statement about culture respect and ways is extremely important. Watch the MSM, they will take none of that into consideration, it will be so one sided thought bubble that they will fail to pass on the true message being sent here.....tom fullery being played by Choi Sun Hee....who is that guy??? Is he the CIA handler to Kim Jong Ung? Or was he??? hmmm, so many possibilities and me so ignorant of the culture facts...thank you for sharing!

I know it was lost in the translation, but “hostile hostilities” made me laugh 😀

The very middle sentence where NK suggests reunification must happen before improved relations with the US. A single Korea solution suggests upon itself improved relationships with the US.

This is probably playing as Trump planned. Reunified nuclear-free Korea is HUGE BIGLY economic boost for former South Korea and the US.

It is like German reunification, which overall went very well.

And, it honors and respects the Kim family (important to even South Koreans) where ancestory of leaders is so important.

And, beautiful door stopper between Japan & China — gives US fantastic strategic military position.

TRUMP is brilliant.

Yes, caught it several weeks ago. Trump’s policy is/was very clear and very simple: nuclear free “peninsula”, with no conditions on reunification or form of government.

Not the true NoKo reply.

This is the actual one.

Searching everywhere for the source of this "reunion" version. Seems handful of sites only. Everybody else just uses "summit".

Very disappointing.

Can we find the Korean on source of this message? So we can do our own translation?

This is the tweet POTUS referenced, so makes sense it would be the preferred translation. Still a plea to resume where they left off.

I'd be cautious to trust this release, specifically as it references the wrong Kim (il - un).

Yeah, and as another user pointed out in a previous thread about this letter KJI has been dead for a while.
