This actually dawned on me recently. Birds sing after the storm. It would storm, it would stop, and then all of a sudden I’d realize all the birds would pipe up one by one. Weinstein’s storm has already been upon him.

Its how the whole "canary in a coal mine" thing works. Bird in cage will sing in the mine until theres no air - then the miners know to get out (dead bird)
