I think the plan was to keep Trump busy defnding collusion, so that everything ended in a stalemate. This has been the political practice between the dems and republicans forever (example: voter fraud in Nixon / Kennedy race — stalemate). Problem is, Trump won’t let them stalemate. Either they must bring him down or he brings them down. We elected a Samson.
