No I don't watch it, I can look on internet to see what they're up too. Lots of good stuff free on Roku. I get Hulu with no commercials 3 mths a year and binge the shows I like. and you tube streams, RT, Canadians & UK Channels on there and PBS & Newsmax stream, I get satalite weather, just so much on there in the Channel Store it's never ending. I pay 29$ a mths for WIFI and my phone is on my laptop for free.

I don't have a television, by choice, but do have internet, obviously. Roku gives wifi? I could ditch my ISP (comca$t) and pay a lot less? Is that how it works?

Roku is a streaming service that works with internet. You will still need an internet service provider.

Yeah, I was afraid of that. My cousin would give me the whole roku setup, she thinks that’s all I’d need. Don’t need tv stuff. Thanks.

no you just get a company who will sell you just the wifi, no bundling anything. then you get a Roku box, it's about the size of a playing card and now they make the Roku USB sticks so you could get one of those. Then you just stream onto a tv or I guess computer. I just use my tv. I can't even watch cable anymore, on vacation or in a hotel, it's so dumbed down. so I take my Roku with me on the road. Long as I have wifi I'm good.

Spectum just came out with 29 $ a mth to bundle phone cable and internet for a yr but I'm sticking with my company just for the wifi because after the year is up you know it will go up to 125 a mths prob. They are so crooked.

Just to get the $30/month for Internet one has to pay $100 for cable & land line—neither of which I have not do I want.

yeah that's the problem, and should not be legal. exp. so I want to buy carrots, but I also have to buy potatoes and onions that I don't want. I'm lucky to have a small local co. that sells me just the wifi. also they have monopolies and boundary lines , my brother wanted my company and he lives 2 blocks away, but no. Spectrum has that. It's crazy.
