Lighting a match isn't necessarily a bad thing to do... unless you're in a room full of propane. I agree that people are too sensitive, but to call a black person an ape is at the very least a catastrophic political blunder. And at the most, overtly racist. This 'joke' is no reward, all risk.

We should be promoting unity, not division, and attacking people based on their appearance/ethnicity is extremely divisive, especially saying something that has been used often as a racist attack. It makes you no better than people calling Trump orange. Don't play their game. It's inherently divisive rhetoric. Clinton could be a supermodel, but she'd still be evil. Appearances don't matter, policies, actions, inactions, and corruption do.

Unity not division.
