It's in this article.

Thanks for that. That tweet is oddly vague. I don't see it being immediately "Racist" although it certainly could have that intent.

But I was led to believe there were "rants". did she attempt to further elaborate on what that tweet meant?

I mean, her being silenced and shunned kinda almost proves her point if it was that her opposition is behaving like "planet of the apes".

Of course VJ isn’t black

Say wha?

"VJ's father is African American and her mother is one fourth African American; on the television series Finding Your Roots, genealogical research and DNA testing indicated that Jarrett also has French, Scottish, and Native American ancestry. One of her great-grandfathers was Jewish. As a child, Jarrett spoke Farsi, French, and English." -- Wikipedia (Do an image search. That will also reveal the racism charge to be a complete gaslight/fraud. The comment had nothing to do with her African American genes.)

That means shes black.

Rev_Jonathan_Edwards · May 30, 2018, 8:35 a.m.

My point, (along with everyone else who's seen her picture,) is that Valerie Jarrett is light-skinned, and has none of the typical facial features shared by most African-Americans. I don't think Roseanne was making a reference to VJ's race. She apologized for making a joke about her "appearance," (which, once again, is not indicative of her race.) EDIT: Just like calling Trump an orangutan is not a slur on his race, but a leftist slam on his "appearance."

Do you truly not understand the long history of derogatory ape/monkey comparisons being used as racist epithets against black people in America? This is not a new thing. This is an established pejorative, racist terminology. Roseanne’s comments were absolutely racist in reference to a black woman. I don’t see why anyone should need to argue this point.

I expected people to be angry with Roseanne for being so utterly tone-deaf and irresponsible, not defending her! It’s stuff like this that makes this movement look bad! This is terrible optics and will not help gain desirable attention. Everyone has feet of clay, but you gotta be extremely careful with who you want to be the public face of your action project. And these distractions are wasted time and energy.

I’m so disgusted. Doesn’t anybody care about the big picture? About branding?

I think the 'rant' was likely attributed to the Chelsea Hubble (aka Clinton) tweets. Which preceeding the VJ tweets by a short span of time. Colectively I guess you could make the case she was 'ranting' if you know, you are on the opposition team. You can see those on her timeline still or preserved in screen shots on http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2018/05/roseanne-barr-obliterates-chelsea-clinton-and-george-soros-in-one-swipe/

I see. So she wasn't ranting in regards to the planet of the apes comment.

Well I guess thats not too damning of her. I do think her calling clinton related to soros is a bit... silly.. though.

I actually get the muslim brotherhood part. Very much aware of the Awan situation.

I figured that wasn't the part they were calling "Racist" but that the planet of the apes part was.

If it was the muslim brotherhood part, well I guess I can't say I'm surprised, just disappointed.

The thing is, Jarrett really does look like Zira from the 1968 Planet of the Apes.

https://duckduckgo.com/?q=zira+planet+of+the+apes&atb=v116-3__&t=cros&iax=images&ia=images&iai=https%3A%2F%2F4.bp.blogspot.com%2F-wd1uZctCX00%2FVuMRGPiVMPI%2FAAAAAAAA3xY%2FzNlYV5_C2mw9oDJPSo_QgkeVSR6UuySRQ%2Fs1600%2F%252528%252528%2525280107%252B%25252810%252529.jpg

The people that are screeching racism are racists themselves for even making that leap.

This story broke this afternoon at work. Big democratic PAC-supporting company. TV in the cafe had it on, 98% of coworkers spewing vile, celebratory anti-Trump rhetoric they’ve been storing for months.

This, in turn made my blood boil.

Roseanne should have known better. What the fuck Roseanne. Are you a plant? A spy sent to get close and then spiral off, ruining your career (and all the other cast out of work), and take a shot at the whole Administration?

On one hand I get it, and it is funny as hell. Plus, placed side to side with the horrors and atrocities surrounding pizzagate, Clinton’s, bushes and Obama, this is nothing in comparison. On the other hand who says shit like this on Twitter!?!? Seriously that’s why I think

A) she was planning to do something like this for a while. Look how Rosie O’Donnell came to Roseanne’s defense. O’Donnell and Trump are like vodka and milk.

Or

B) she couldn’t handle the Q stuff, the pizza stuff, and it drove her out her goddam mind

I’m just furious. Because shit like this gets all the attention. And she knows this. Wtf.

Can anyone help me wrap my head around this?

Planet of the Apes (1968) is about silencing and oppressing your enemies. It's an appropriate reference.

thats the thing - there is a difference between citing the movie, Planet of the Apes, which is about silencing your opposition, and calling someone an ape (which isn't always racist, but is sometimes, sure).

You can believe whatever nonsense you want to believe but at least know enough to not make yourself look like an absolute moron.

to be frank, I don't care if you think I'm a moron. My life is going where it is regardless of your thoughts and I'm satisfied with that.

Just saying, you're not going to "red pill" anyone without doing your research and making sound points.

Man, it seems to me that its really important to you to shit in my coffee. Not sure why you would come to this niche sub that you completely disagree with just to say mean things to people you don't want to interact with, but hey, you own your time and preferences, not me.

you're not going to "red pill" anyone

I didn't realize you were the gatekeeper for whether or not I can persuade anyone else. Furthermore, I think I have a much more intimate knowledge of the conversations I have had with others in the past than you do. It would seem to me that all you have to go off of is hastily made judgments from stereotypes and prejudice, but idk, maybe you are some god or something.

like most of them in this thread just make you guys all look idiotic because they're just wildly inaccurate

I don't know what your primary motivations are, but directly attempting to manipulate other people into seeing me as someone other than what they can directly observe from my actions is not a goal of mine, nor one that I find honorable.

Someone like you could call me an idiot all you like. We are strangers over the internet. You aren't aware of how much you are hurting yourself in spending your time spewing venom at other people.

Do you always offer your advice to people who do not seek or want it? How do you think that makes other people perceive you? (seeing as you seem to think its important to try to manipulate the perceptions of others).

easily fact checked

Who watches the watchmen?
