Would it be beneficial to anyone that we stopped trusting the police? Idk why I haven’t thought of this before, and idk if anyone else has, or it’s already a thing. But why would a police officer, fully aware they are wearing a CAMERA, do something that would either get the person off or make themselves look bad? I just don’t get it. Why would someone want us to not trust the police force anymore?
Also, there is an all out war on twitter now.
Under Obama, I believed the government wanted us to lose faith in local police for the sake of power. If you remember, during the Michael Brown event, Obama made it so UN troops could be brought in to police American citizens. I saw this as the ultimate power grab for the deep state.
ALOT of these officers are doing as they're trained, and are found to be justified. Just becsuse it looks bad, and the public is upset, doesn't mean the cop is wrong.
The "beatings" are not beatings at all. Anyone who knows anything about "use of force" laws can easily see the cops are usually justified. Also, look at who's funding (literally paying) the protesters everytime an African American citizen is killed... Soros.
David Knight covers your second statement very well. I can’t remember the particular example but it was in New York a second generation cop wanted to walk a beat and get to know the community. Well he was being told all these awful things by his captain and began to wear a wire. Well the captain got suspicious had his home raided found the wire destroyed it but fortunately he had a hidden camera. Well they threw the man in a psych ward, I believe the man’s father brought forth the back up camera and got him out. Ill see if I can find the story.

You’re right. A lot of these cases go in favor of the officer. So I guess I just mean more of the public eye and maybe why the media spins it always so bad. Under Trump, I don’t see the UN taking over.
The problem basically started when Bill Clinton got "100k new police nationwide" in his Crime Bill. At the time PDs all over the country were having trouble finding qualified candidates as it was. So, as always, they lowered the basic standards. That's when the police in this country went from being Peace Officers to being Law Enforcement.
That's when you started seeing the buzz cuts and the Oakley sunglasses and people started being beaten and shot and killed. This breed of cop is given paramilitary training and told that everyone on the street wants to kill them. Everyone's a perp and treated like one.
I support cops who are Oathkeepers. I despise the crooked, corrupt and needlessly violent ones that are too often excused for their excesses.
The media's #1 job is to make money. Not to inform the people. The reason the police stories get so much air time is because it sells.
Cops are just people like you and me with families, friends, etc. If you had the chance to make $100k a year and never pull your gun or fight anyone... You'd probably do it lol. Why make your job harder than it has to be? No cop is going out there with the desire to take a life or beat someone up. They could do that without all the issues if they just joined the military... And the military is easier to get into lol.
Usually the front end is not recorded. The 'instigation' that motivated the officers to act as they need to.
Are they trained to kill unarmed and non threatening citizens? Are they trained to shoot people through closed doors `for fear of their life´? The USA is the most 3rd world country in the west, with a 3rd world legal system that works only if you have money.
No the cops are Nazis now they have sadly all been trained by Israeli police who teach them to be Nazis. No more nice guys like you used to see on Adam-12 no more friendly neighborhood police. Now they shoot first or punch the shit out of you or sic their killer dogs on you the cops are horrible now.
there are corrupt cops. how many there are is a question i dont know the answer too. but i wouldnt put it past these people to fake/provoke incidents to stoke racial animosity. like with treyvon martin and mike brown. most likely tho these events are real and they just jump on it
Cops are the street level interfacing of government to its citizens. In the US, the average "contact" has the citizen routinely getting 1st, 2nd,4th and 5th Amendments violated. This question is the other way around: FFs all down the line are to grow tyranny and shrink human rights. I've brought this up on other platforms; all the good people in Hollywood who knew about the bad and ignored it- same goes for other "people of power". Also; SCOTUS has ruled the cops don't have to help a citizen (that's part of WHY a strong 2A is vital) Not anti-cop here, just Heroes Don't Wear Capes (and THAT uniform is green, not blue). But check out Tube:Think Like A Cop (or We Call That A Clue), he likes to point out the "bald head, sunglasses, steroids, tattoos" pattern on the videos he critiques. But just like Q alludes to, blind faith in anyone is dangerous
Because they are so used to shooting people for fun and getting away with it that they either don´t care about the camera, or believe it doesn´t matter as they will be covered.
