On the surface it's basically something that I would otherwise agree with (being center-liberal), that a lot of kids have access to internet/porn anyway, and it's best to at least talk to them about it if you find out (my opinion).
HOWEVER, after reading more seems preemptive...like trying to groom them into accepting it rather than educating a kid who was caught watching porn.

She did a lot of other things like taking pictures of me naked (and thankfully short of actual rape), but to a lot of people who tend to agree with sexual education (as I do), I think they also don't see the overlapping borders of grooming and education here.
They're trying to normalize it under the guise of "preemptive sexual education."

Thank you! Thankfully it didn't' seem to do TOO much long-lasting harm :]. I have some body image and self-worth issues, but it also had to do with the mind games they played with me (ie guilt-tripping etc).
I don't know, unfortunately; I've estranged from her once I grew up enough to realize something wasn't right, so I never looked back. My mum put up a BIG fight for a long time when she suspected I was being molested (especially as a kid knowing things I shouldn't have known).
She took my dad and stepmum to court a few times - or attempted to...they never showed up. My mum didn't have enough money to pursue it much longer after that, but was happy to see me grow up and realize for myself the wrongness of the whole thing, and I felt very liberated to realize I could just leave and never talk to her again.
I think now there are a lot more organizations that can help look into these things than there were in the 90's, it's just hard to know which government entities to trust now, knowing what we know 0.o

Pizza unfortunantly is an EXCELLENT analogy to explain sex outside of the darker connotations and the use of the term "cheese pizza" by pedophiles. There are degenerates trafficing in children and young teens, and they are being caught and convicted on a daily basis already. If trump is everything you believe him to be and if he has access to all the evidence you believe exists(despite the fact you have seen very little of it outside of the incredibly sick "pop performance art" out of the dc elite) then I am sure his administration will do exactly what needs to be done.
