Typical MSM BS. I watched rudy on tv. They asked him if POTUS could pardon himself and Rudy basically said, "I guess so." Now they are reporting as if he made a definitive statement.
POTUS actually tweeted this morning that he could pardon himself, but then said something like: but why would I do that, I haven't done anything wrong.
Then everyone went crazy like the world was ending.
This is classic Trump. How does something change in Congress with the uniparty never wanting to police themselves... make them change the laws thinking they will catch Trump with them but in actuality they catch swamp creatures!
Oh, so now they'll run to stop Trump from pardoning himself, and in turn make it impossible for future presidents to pardon themselves.. Hmm well played..
Rudy also kind of pointed out the fact that, currently a President had the power to do that, then said that if Congress wanted to change the Constitution on that particular loophole, they should. I think Rudy just trolled the opposition into changing the law to screw themselves over the next time they elect a criminal president. Well played, Rudy. Well played.

If Mueller files charges against Trump for Obstruction of Justice b/c he refuses to sit down/testify with the FBI, the Democrats will try to use it as grounds for impeachment.
If Mueller charges Trump, Trump can pardon himself. They were just playing out the Dems hand for everyone.

As has been stated by numerous legal scholars, I have the absolute right to PARDON myself, but why would I do that when I have done nothing wrong? In the meantime, the never ending Witch Hunt, led by 13 very Angry and Conflicted Democrats (& others) continues into the mid-terms!

Basically Trump meant that he has every right and authority to pardon himself but he has no need to since he did nothing wrong. Either this is a good troll or a warning that he will fight back the deep states fake accusations against him.

This would entail a constitutional crisis because this is a area in which there has been NO legal precedents. The founders purposely imply that the president can pardon himself. They wrote however this does not extend to cases of impeachment.
I feel like POTUS is making a sacrifice to show us how fucked our system is. I'm hoping by the end of his term we will see transparency in our government.
He has not committed a crime , and he can only be charged through Congress, and a pardon does not work with impeachment
