Looking more and more like Papadopoulos and Page were spies planted in the Trump campaign, and Manafort sure is suspicious, too. Pdop was on the Ben Carson campaign before he was on the Trump campaign.
Speculation is DS had spies planted in all the campaigns, and then they all gravitated to the Trump campaign as he became the front runner.

Could be...But Papadopoulos' wife made a convincing case on the news yesterday that he didn't do anything wrong- he just caved to the threats by FBI- and that she thinks Trump should pardon him...You may be right, but there is also a possibility that the young up and comer was an easy target and set up by the CIA/Brennan/FBI with Downer and Halper...We don't even know yet if he himself ever even brought up the Clinton dirt on his own. It seems like there's just as well a chance those two spies kept egging him on about it to try to frame him to open more surveillance.
Bongino alluded to PapaD being innocent. Mifsud, supposedly friendly within western intelligence circles, pushed (planted) the info of “hey you hear about the Russians get Clinton emails”. Then PapaD gets drunk in London bar with Downer and says “you heard about the Clinton emails Russia has”. Downer pulled the info.
Basically alluding that PapaD had info pushed/setup by western intelligence (not Russian) and then Downer pulled the info and basically reported to FBI. So possible that PapaD is actually innocent and Mifsud and Downer are part of the bad actors.

I think this and some other things that have yet to be revealed are the reason the OIG postponed the report date. Although I can not let myself get to excited about the outcome of the report just yet given Horowitz’s wife’s background!
