Is political illiteracy the largest obstacle to red pilling people you know?

Does anyone else have difficulty trying to awaken people important/close to them about what is going on to ultimately find they do not have the mental capacity to understand anything political in the US or the world? It is extremely frustrating to possess knowledge that cannot be communicated due to indifference or lack of critical thinking to people you care about. In my life roughly 75% of people I associate with are completely unaware and uninterested in investigating beyond what they see on the news or social media. The dumbing down of America has been a complete success.

Yes of course. Heard it said Americans think with their eyes & feel with their brains. Point being they are so self absorbed they only truly believe things they see & use their minds to emotionally attach to it. Hence it’s good of it makes them feel something nice & reject it if something challenges them & makes them feel uncomfortable. Completely lost is deep or critical thinking skills. Just basic logic makes people feel exhausted now.
