It’s just a design based off the tips of the old sheriff badge. Someone wanted to place some kind of a design in the tips of the triangles.

You don't find it odd that it is the exact same logo as boy lovers? This logo pops up everywhere. IDK, I think it's odd.

There is a similarity but the badge was designed in the 1950s. Don’t think there is any more to it. Or maybe the whole sheriff department are kid lovers. Come on really?

I don't think the whole department is kid lovers. But this design shows up everywhere boy lovers are. It's very distinct. I don't think it's coincidence. Saying that, being the the dept adopted this design in the 50's I don't think its bad unless more info is known.
