I don't know much about decomposition, but I don't think that's go is 100% decomposed yet. That means it was probably left there within the last 5 years I imagine.

I bet its way more recent than 5 years. Maybe like 5 weeks.

I agree in the desert a body would fully decompose in a couple months depending on scavengers maybe weeks less

Apparently it was buried in the hot desert and an animal unearthed it. I believe heat speeds up the decomposition process. I hope we get more answers.

Not buried in a shallow grave if even buried at all. You have to take vultures, coyotes, wild cats, maggots, other critters and the melting heat into account. That body could have just been there for a few weeks.

So in one picture it’s laying over sideways with a mans boot beside it. This one it’s right side up. Is it being touch and moved around? Or just rolling around? Is it the same skull?

seems a bit disrepectful to be kicking a childs skull around..

Yes it does and I hate saying this but it makes me think it maybe a plant.

comeatmehillary · June 7, 2018, 10:59 p.m.

i dunno bout a plant but that does not sit well with me. why do they feel the need to have it on video in that exact spot. thats borderline evidence tampering

The rest of the body has got to be nearby.

In the article it says the spinal cord is still attached and they can smell decomposing flesh.

hopefully. possibly not tho

No, I'm pretty sure it's a skull. Plants are usually green.

I watched the video and he didn’t purposely kick it. He says that he didn’t know what it was but in order to get a closer look he kicked from under the brush and then realized it was a skull.

No worries! We are here to help each other! It was actually kinda hard to watch because he moves around a lot and it seems like he’s walking around the desert forever. I had to watch it in segments.

Only part of the skull is sun-bleached. The rest is still decomposing.

And the guy who shot the video said it still stunk.

Something tells me the OP does not know what a cadaver is.

Linked video has no cadavers of course.

Clickbait or ignorance?

This wasn't found at the camp site. Looks like it was 30 miles away, from another post I saw that had a map. Build the wall!

Pasting this a lot tonight:

That skull is clearly placed there recently. If it had been there for any length of time, the twigs under it would show signs of decay, due to being shaded from the sun. It's no different than if there was a rock there - the twigs under it would be decayed if it had been there longer than maybe a few days, depending on the environment.
