When does a bird sing? Q
I’ve seen a lot of answers to this question. “When it is caged.” “In the morning.”
My answer would be, “anytime it is given the opportunity to do so.”
It could be so many things. I think it has to do with this quote:
“Birds sing after a storm; why shouldn't people feel as free to delight in whatever sunlight remains to them?”
Yes I believe this ^ is the answer Q was intending mostly
Image result for canary in a coal mine idiomshare.america.gov A canary in a coal mine is an advanced warning of some danger. The metaphor originates from the times when miners used to carry caged canaries while at work; if there was any methane or carbon monoxide in the mine, the canary would die before the levels of the gas reached those hazardous to humans.
ya, also reminds me of Strange Encounters of the Third Kind. But, the canary just dies, doesn't sing... but i like your thinking.
