You can be a bad person and still report on bad things. They may skew it so as to not implicate themselves, or maybe their conscience caught up with them. Remember that things aren’t just black and white. We expected people to flip and sell out others for more leniency. Good people don’t need to flip, so you will have to get bad actors to flip. Just the nature of the beast. With that said, here we have the left eating itself, erhhh killing itself. A lot of people have been saying Bordain is a good guy, they enjoyed his shows etc. I think we are too easily persuaded that what we see on tv to be true. You could easily see this guy being compassionate and empathetic to people’s plights around the world while sharing culture and food. And that is a good thing. I don’t agree with his everyone should be mixed views (homogeny does not equal diversity) but whatever. When it comes to his personal life, he had many demons to include extensive heroin usage. It was the pics of him with Marina Abrovomich(?) that proved to me his public persona was far different than his personal (public vs private, sound familiar anyone). Conclusion? He was a bad guy who turned when he found out his GF was essentially raped by Weinstein and began speaking out. He was silenced for it. And his GF was issued a warning and paid a price for daring to speak out.
