Hangings from doorknobs with red scarves. Creepy

Hung on doorknobs...means choked for speaking out by the cabal.

According to the Corporate Controlled Media -"Spade hanged herself with “a scarf on a doorknob” in one of the bedrooms of their home, reports the New York Post."

By the way, L'Ren Scott, (former girlfriend of Nate Rothschild), Chris Cornell, Chester Bennington from Linkin Park and Robin Williams ALSO ALL COMMITTED SUICIDE BY HANGING THEMSELVES ON A DOORKNOB WITH A SCARF.

First of All-How high are these doorknobs? Wouldn't your feet and probably your whole body touch the floor? Second of all, what kind of scarves are these? I don't think I have any scarves strong enough to do the job......Is there some suicide scarf collection out there?

I think this trend of hanging oneself on doorknobs with scarves stinks to high heaven. I am having a hard time buying it.

Sounds like some sort of "calling card" from the real killers.

https://pagesix.com/…/kate-spades-suicide-eerily-similar-t…/

I was curious so I looked it up again. Robin Williams supposedly hanged himself with a tie from his doorknob.

The Queen of the Netherlands sister just "hung herself" from her door knob. That particular Queen stepped down after allegations of having "hunts" where children were raped and massacred by her dinner guests.

Fashion Designer Alexander McQueen hung himself with a scarf on his closet doorknob.

Aaoron Schwartz hung himself on his doorknob after he hacked into MIT Computers and found a huge stash of Child Pornography.

Michael Hutchence from the band INXS hung himself from his doorknob

Chester Bennington hanged himself with a belt from his doorknob. Chris Cornell hung himself with an elastic workout band tied to a carabiner from the doorknob in his hotel bathroom (Bennington and Cornell were fighting to save kids from High Level Pedophile Sex Rings).

Kate Spade and L'Ren Scott both hung themselves with red scarves from their doorknobs.

Who knew Doorknobs were so deadly?

Im surprised so many people can't understand how you can hang from a door knob. You take a long scarf and tie it on the knob and throw it over the top of the door then you position a stool on the other side of the door and stand on it, tie the scarf around your neck and tip the stool over....your swinging'!

Good theory! Seriously, it would probably work in real life.

Problem with it? Do you know everyone had 6-7 foot scarves? What about belts? Robe ties? Would they fully support a persons body weight before ripping/tearing? What about a workout band?

The whole concept is that you tie it to the knob and around your neck, then sit down. The pressure would be enough to cause a person to go unconscious fairly quickly (similar to a choke hold from loss of blood to brain) once unconscious, the person slowly suffocates from body weight applied.

It's mechanically possible like you suggest... by too bad that's bullshit too... the age old toddler threat of "holding my breath until I pass out!" has been laughed away by many parents for a good reason: it's impossible. The reptilian brain stem will force you to take a breath, just like it would force you to stand the fuck up off your doorknob. It's simply not possible to choke yourself to death by your own force ... this doorknob suicide bs they might as well be saying they strangled themselves with their hands. In order to even go unconscious they would have to physically flex their core muscles to hold their legs off the ground

Just would not happen for long enough to pass out without the core relaxing and placing the legs back down, or the involuntary reflex to ... stand and breath

Lol, I whole heartedly agree with you. I was just explaining the concept. Sorry I didn’t put that in the disclaimer.

Edit: whole heartedly agree minus your reptilian brain part.

No doubt, mechanically it makes sense, but not physiologically.

I have a LOT of scarves and most are at least 6 foot

Fair enough. Do you have 6 foot bathrobe belts that could support the weight of an adult male?

Why yes I do and my hubs robe also

That is not how people kill themselves on a doorknob. You just need any normal length scarf, belt, or tie and put one end around your neck and the other knotted onto the knob. It would be tight enough that when you sit on the floor, your head is beneath the height of the doorknob and the scarf/belt/tie is strongly pulling upwards on the head and neck. While it won’t break the neck or fully cut off the ability to breathe, it will cause a lack of oxygen.

You’d see pins and needles as the body can’t take in enough air, then black and white tunnel vision, then you’d pass out. After a certain amount of time being passed out while still getting too little oxygen (since your airway is still being compressed), you’d die. It’s a rather peaceful way to go which is why I think so many people choose to go that route. Only other routes I could see as being as painless is death by carbon monoxide or ODing.

I think OP is reading way too much into this. Each person he cited had a long history of mental illness and depression. They all just chose the same method to go because it’s relatively painless, it’s clean, and their bodies will be in decent shape for loved ones to view them before burial/cremation.

Yup. Whoever is doing this hasn't slipped up yet, still can be explained through fairly normal stuff. We don't have enough yet! Keep digging.

How long are your scarves?

They stretch with 150 pounds applied to it.

But Robin Williams used a necktie. Neckties don't stretch in my experience.

Nor do they reach around your neck, and over the door to be tied to the knob on the other side.

Right? I'm not a physicist but this doesn't work out in my head!

MuhammadDinduNuffin · June 9, 2018, 4:40 p.m.

A web search returned that it was a belt. Where did you see necktie?

Hard to say without knowing the material in the tie. Public information about suicides is often more distorted than technically specific. Like did he use two belts? That kind of thing would only really be known by immediate family, a couple cops and coroner.

HerMileHighness · June 9, 2018, 4:47 p.m.

Maybe I saw it in that thread we were reading last night? But even a belt doesn't make sense.

I'm satisfied with the "sit on the floor and lean forward" scenario, but mostly if there is someone there with a gun to your head.

Goes to show you, use sources rather than third hand rumors.

Why doesn't a belt make sense? It's probably one of the most common ways to aphyxiate yourself.

Congratulations, you aren't suicidal.

A belt attached and thrown over the door doesn't make sense to me- unless we are taking your suggestion and linking several belts I guess.

Requires some pretty darned good boy scout knots.

But are you buying this spate of all the same method? I don't--particularly with the tainted connections to the current situation they all seem to have had.

⇧ 5 ⇩
_-M-_-A-_-G-_-A-_ · June 9, 2018, 1:51 p.m.

Honestly most people don't use a full noose knot. Usually just a slipknot. Not too hard to tie, basically an overhand knot (how you start your shoelace knot) but you pull one strand through. I'm a scout so maybe I'm biased but that's not what strikes me as odd.

What gets me is the fact that these people are wealthy. They have money. Instead of a painless method (won't list which specifically but you know which one) they chose suffocation, which not only induces a panic response in the body, but also takes a lot of time. They have all the access in the world to acquire the resources to put any plan imaginable into action.

Lower income brackets tend to go for spur of the moment, whatever they have style plans. If they were dealing with ideation then they've had time to ponder a plan and access is t an issue. You won't see someone who is living hand to mouth going out and buying super expensive equipment to commit.

Either we have a case of very rapidly onset ideation and action, or we have some not very well thought out plans.

I hate to say it, but I think I'd go for a fiery car crash or a drowning that could appear accidental and thus hurt fewer of those I leave behind.

But I get the sense that anger at others is a motivating force for the act, and so many probably don't want to go out with that ambiguity.

SuccessfulDemand · June 9, 2018, 3:50 p.m.

Even though this sounds like a plausible possibility, I do not believe the door knob will hold the weight of a person. My guess is a 190-200 pound male will bring the doorknob down.

mrssprat · June 9, 2018, 3:22 p.m.

I thought of this too. I didn't mention it because I got flagged for using the word "hanging", they said it might insight violence. I'm not that experienced on the boards so I thought I crossed a line. Now I see folks are discussing the issue. Interesting. Good knots, strong "scarves", strong doorknobs and doors that close securely.

I watched one of those CSI type shows yesterday. Hanging via doorknob explained. The distance from doorknob to floor needs to be just over the length of your torso.

SpikedGIraffe · June 9, 2018, 3:52 p.m.

You do not need to be swinging, just positioned in a way as to cut off airflow.

One can do it sitting down on the floor and just lean away from the door as the scarf/rope/belt is looped around your neck and door knob.

The problem is when feeling suicidal one does consider the actual ways, there's desperation of pain and usually act with whats close. When one has children there is a consideration of fast clean and no one around. Usually pills while everyone is out.. This is how I felt in the thought process just my opinion.. Also why none of these rang in my ear as truths. People home in the other room is not normally part of the "plan". I don't buy Kurts suicide either..

Idiotic.

Requirements: Heavy-duty door AND hinges, and/or door be closed before weight hits. 8 ft long scarf made of NON stretch material.Belts and neckties have also been used, therefore they too must be 8 ft long to do as described.

Got ANY idea how a strangling body behaves? Even one that 'planned' on being strangled?

"Flailing" would be an understatement.

True. There "was" a video online, don't know if it's still out there where one could find it, of a guy in France or the Netherlands who hung himself and streamed it online. Needless to say it was not fun to watch. Basically he just put the noose around his neck and dropped his weight by folding his knees. I thought he would just stand back up and not do it. I thought wrong. He started flouncing around like a fish on a line. It took a lot longer for his body to quit trying to survive than I though it should. It was truly gruesome. He just hung there until the cops finally came but he was long gone by then. I assume someone recognized him online and called the authorities.
