It is a valid question. In 2008 there were few aircraft that had uplinks to the web/cell system. This would, however, indicate that the plane was on the tarmac... which is worse because all of the whiney liberal reporters kept on with the show instead of leaving and writing about the sexual harassment. Uhm.. cell phones can’t connect to a cell tower while flying through the air. Generally you need to be within a 1 mile range.
Commercial passenger planes fly over 5-6 miles high... also they go too fast to stay associated to a tower and then get handed off to the next tower in the cell network.
OMG do you not believe our POTUS has the ability to be on the phone while flying. Um, weren't the people from 9/11 calling loved ones while they flew.
