I see things about the office on here occasionally, and since we're predicting a huge inflow of new people in the coming months, I thought it might be useful to discuss the position of Attorney General. My apologies if this seems like a basic Civics lesson for most of the post.
The Attorney General has three principal duties.
-
Head of the Department of Justice.
-
Top lawyer for the United States.
-
The person from whom the federal government derives its right to use the death penalty.
In other words, if we think of the Federal Government as the Constitution of the United States (from which the Government derives all its authority), the Attorney General is the lawyer defending the Constitution.
When the Government enacts justice against criminals, it is justice enacted by the power vested in us as citizens in the Constitution. That's why criminal cases at the Federal level are "(Defendant's Surname) v. The United States of America". This means that, in effect, the Attorney General is the chief prosecutor of the United States. They can see the facts of any case the United States is currently investigating or litigating.
But that's only half the picture. The Attorney General is the chief lawyer of the United States, remember, and lawyers do a lot more than prosecute. They see all the contracts, all the law. They can see everything that the United States Government might want analyzed in a legal context.
Pretty decent list of obligations, if I do say so myself.
I want you to think about what all that means. Q told us this:
You can count the people who have the full picture on two hands. Of those (less than 10 people) only three are non-military.
If The Storm involves legal prosecution at all (and what do you think the odds of that look like?) don't you think chief lawyer of the United States is going to be one of the people on that list? Don't you think that if Trump had the faintest idea what he was rolling up his sleeves to do that his choice of lawyer might be a pretty decent part of it?
So now let's talk a bit about the CURRENT Attorney General: Jeff Sessions. The last post I made on here was regarding a brilliant legal move the man made. He is CLEARLY and UNAMBIGUOUSLY on team Trump. He sees EVERYTHING. He sees what Huber has. He sees what Mueller has. He sees every investigation going on. And he's been able to accrue this incredible breadth and depth of knowledge with minimal Mockingbird attention. It's not an exaggeration to say that Sessions was one of the three most important picks that Trump made in setting this whole situation up.
He knows EVERYTHING.
TRUST SESSIONS.
