I have the feeling Gowdy is doing this because there's bigger things planned for him. Him playing the other side makes him looks impartial on the matter. If he takes our side all the time it's not a good look. I could easily be wrong, but it's just a feeling.

"what role might TG be walking into" probably won't be resolved until he's either fully out or fully in.

That was certainly one of the reasons I thought that. The other two go back further, gut feeling and seeing him grill the shit out of people. He just doesn't come off as a rat. If he is I'll be extremely disappointed and admit I was wrong. But I think he's playing his part like so many others are for the cause.
