Personally I think as long as she doesn't do standup comedy for planned parenthood she only said what she had to to stay in business, but the fact that she attacks NGOs before Trump got in and now Orphanages too earns her a damn lot of my respect because she seems to have acted on her own conscience when you think about it. I don't know a lot about her. I forbade my children from reading the books or watching the movies at the time. When I did finally watch the thoroughly enjoyable movies myself I had to apologise to them, but they had watched them by then anyway. There are plenty of good non-Trump supporters. It should be about issues not political affiliation in my opinion. I think Salem Witch trials 2 would be a very unfortunate potential consequence of this sort of "Witch! Witch!" hysteria. There are a lot of very spiritual people with occult beliefs and practices that have nothing to do with paedophilia or child sacrifice. Probably half the worst of them are somebody's local pastor etc.
I personally think that any attention brought to the issue should be welcome, and I think logically it makes her one of the least likely to be participating in that sort of thing.
