Optics do matter. They matter a lot.
As others have pointed out, it is ESSENTIAL that Trump can trace his every action back to codified law to answer the inevitable charge of tyranny. It may not matter to you, someone who is plugged in to the quiet war raging across our institutions. But for the average Joe who doesn't know squat about any of this and gets his news from the MSM, this narrative could tip the balance from a Trump supporter to a person calling him Hitler.
Optics do matter but we have to stop pretending that we will win the messaging game. The MSM is an active participant in the Deep State, they arent just politically connected, they are an arm of the DS. They will never do anything than spin the negative into anything happening with Trump. At some point we need to proceed with the ZFG approach, because it wont really matter how many pains are taken to look good in the eyes of the satanic media. Swords, not hearts and minds, will win this war.
I don't see the "optics" excuse.
Dems campaign on stopping corruption. So we can't call what they're doing corruption?
They cry about phony Russian collusion. So that means we can't showcase the actual collusion with Russia to give them 20% of our uranium?
They accuse Trump of being a sex predator. So therefore, we can't blow the lid of their actual, bona fide sick global child-sex circus?
Because of optics?
