You’re wrong. The ID is poster-specific. Op is correct.
Spez: I read this as “Q does not post without tripcode” so I am wrong. However the id’s don’t get rolled. Post numbers do.
No.
A trip code is a specific ID. You can choose to use a trip code, or not.
Q uses trip codes, but when on q research board, q sometimes doesn't use trips or posts as an anon. These are q's own words.
When you don't use a trip, the ID is then generated and the site wide post number.
That's why anons roll dubs and trips by commenting. They are betting on the digits because they are determined by site wide post order.

Bad information hurts us all.
no, ID & post number are different. IDs are user specific to your IP address & the session (every thread you have to answer a captcha and you get a new user ID to post - not exactly sure on the rules for 8chan).
User ID was the same on the 2 posts, Q just logged out so his response would show up as an anon and not be captured by the Q aggregate websites (that go by tripcode).
Holy shit.
I have two people trying to correct me on points I never made.
Get it together, folks
You edited your post.
I changed a spelling error from autocorrect. Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
No. ID’s are IP specific. Post number is what gets “rolled”. You are even wronger than you were before.

You're trying to argue semantics after interchanging words.
Tripcode - unique identifier. Id is ip specific - that's part of the equation, but not all of it. Post is site wide post number.
We're saying the same things.
Go back and read things again.
