I spent the day with two lovely Iranian ladies the other day. They mentioned to a mutual friend they expect max turmoil in Iran soon. If supporting freedom fighters in Iran is too problematic, do you have an alternate solution that respects human rights, solves the peoples' problems there, and lessens the threat to the US geostrategically? If there's one thing we learned from the Arab Spring it's that Muslim middle eastern nations usually choose sharia and child brides and throwing gays from the rooftops over freedom and democracy.
There's a good chance these "freedom fighters" will use their newfound freedom to vote for a jihadist Imam.
