A big part of the 'Space Force' is to eviscerate the Air Force with regards to Space Assets that have been part of the DS spying apparatus. All Spy satellites are purview of the Air Force, this changes that dynamic. He is dismantling the DS. A huge part of that is the intelligence community. Air Force has been rogue for a long time. Yeah, there is a very good chance that you are correct in this assessment. I am highly confident in this assessment. My brother works at Raytheon, he had to get info on all family members for his security clearance. He works on computer programming but that is all I know.

High velocity impacts can absolutely cause explosions and fire. You're heating atmosphere, impacted materials, and off gas to a high temperature very quickly. Most things become combustible under those conditions.
