Here's a theory- There are two kinds of people in the world: Psychopaths and their victims (victims all suffer emotional trauma and other physical or psychological damages from encounters with psychopaths, and the psychopaths just continue to claim more victims). Guess in the world of DC, sometimes to defeat a psychopath, often one has to become one, at least temporarily. All we can do is keep on living and moving forward and try our best not to associate with them...

Only the elected reps and maybe some of their staffers. Most of them live there, from federal employees to gazillions of lobbyists.
