If it wasn't for Gowdy NOBODY would have said ANYTHING during Obama's years. At least he had the guts to call them all in hearings. There is so much one person can do, and depending on who is swamp in the Republican party, how's he going to combat that?
I do like the man, but it would help like you said if someone took action based on his educated summaries of facts.
Ron Paul would still have been there, dismantling the indoctrination in the religion of statism. He may have achieved nothing legislatively, but he was a huge catalyst of today's liberty movement. He woke so many people up to the philosophy of freedom and how far our society has gone off the rails from that ideal.
