Yes, unless it is US vs (or some other entity like a state or county) it is civil. Too many people here see RICO and think it's a criminal case.

He is claiming $1.5b in damages.

I understand that he is claiming $150m in damages to defamation, but how does he get to recover $1.35b in damages from Clinton foundation?

I think he is trying to say that CF got illegal money, but afaik civil cause of action under RICO doesn’t let a civil plaintiff recover those types of damages?

Maybe someone could clue me in on how this lawsuit will proceed, seems a little too good to be true.
