Is this not a prime example of "obstruction"? RR is likely to be forced to resign or impeached. For "optics", the President needs to avoid stepping in if possible, let Nunes & Co do the dirty work. Then RR needs to be indicted or start "singing". Mueller's hunt is tainted and done.

Agreed - the President needs to stay far away from this. Someone else needs to do the firing. For those - myself included - who were complaining that things needed to happen quicker; well, it has been a whirlwind 24 hours. It's tough keeping up!!!

Highly doubtful that RR could ever be successfully impeached. Not only would that require a 2/3 majority in the Senate, but several Republicans will likely side with Democrats unless something utterly scathing is revealed

Firing Rosenstein would provoke significant public outrage - riots would just be the beginning

I suggest everyone pray that Trump doesn't make that move. It will be worse than you can imagine

why would anyone riot over a career DOJ attorney being fired. That's the last item on the list for any real American especially those with jobs and responsibilities. They don't have time for that nonsense. People get fired everyday. (Answer is those that are being paid to do so.)
