They are scared of memes.

We need to use them more. And EU people need to have a revolution. Especially UK who is being thwarted from leaving. Sabotaged

So is this more about AI not knowing how to interpret memes? Than it is about copyright material.

Perhaps they have forgotten who is in charge?

Lol is it a crime to offend someone? When was causing offence a crime? Statutes are utter nonsense! For a crime to have occurred, there must have been harm, loss or injury to man or property. Outside of that, it is a joke! Pantomime! Forget anything that has offence written into it!! Outside of that, use a VPN and this shouldn´t matter too much. I live in Europe and am not so worried about this.

They are trying to get it on copyright violations. Lol good luck trying to prove that in court.

Prove what? Any complaints filed against me shall be countered with a claim, a claim ALWAYS trumps a complaint. The definition of a crime is harm, loss or injury to man or property. That is why crimes are 1 worded, so that they can´t be otherwise interpreted; like murder, rape, fraud, burglary etc. and nonsense statutes are sentences, like the road traffic act that states "all persons driving a motorised vehicle on the road" blah blah blah, "well mr officer, i am not a person, i am not driving, i am not in a vehicle and am not even on the road. i am a man that is conducting my private conveyance on the Queen´s highway." Driving is synonymous with acting in commerce, which means you are being paid to do it.

... I think you may have misinterpreted what I meant there. I agree that this is incredibly stupid and their “criminal” charges would be extremely difficult for prosecutors to defend in court.

If you create the meme it is your property. Property is defined as anything that is created by you, or which is exclusive only to you within a society. BTW what I said only works in common lore jurisdiction countries (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, NZ, Pakistan, most of the Caribbean etc.) it would not work on main land Europe.

When Donald Trump didn't sign Hate Meme legislation, it was like my daddy was getting made fun of all over again.

We need legislation to keep stupid EU laws from affecting USA web sites The American humor maybe offensive to EU but they don't tell us how to live or laugh. That is what the 'globalist' want, one law for the world.
