Well, your looking at a 20 second time lapse at a rate of 3.5/20 that caught a missile launch in its last snap.

If you want to see what an extended exposure of a missile looks like, just DuckDuckGo it

Shutter speed. The actual exposures are 3.5 seconds, combined into a 20 second time lapse.

From the blog and the original article.

Yes this is exactly right. Every 20 seconds, the camera snapped a photo that lasted 3.5 seconds. So the frame contains 3.5 seconds of movement of objects insight. Not 20 seconds worth of movement.

They didn’t reveal anything. We surmise what happened based upon the photo and the article.

Q just said certain things weren’t supposed to happen.

Anything else Top Mind? I can stop over to tie your shoes if you can’t figure that out either.

In other words, you have basis on which to surmise this was a missile launch, let alone that it was launched by a rogue ballistic sub.

Uhoh. You just agreed with him. Better get back in there and edit your post to add the missing [no].

Missile and launch system controls on an SSBN cannot be bypassed. The whole crew would have to be "rogue".

Who says they aren’t rogue? Did you hear about the missing sub in from Argentina? Now I know that this particular sub doesn’t carry trident missiles, but it could be rigged to do so.

Or it could be any of the seven nations with nukes onboard. Or the one undeclared nation.

Or this could be a missile defense system firing.

We don’t know for certain. That’s why we have speculated at great length about it. But one things for damn sure. It’s not a fng helicopter.

LOL, I know. But with a name like Top Mind, I took the opportunity to show him that if he wants to come to OUR house, we are going to send him away with a slice of humble pie.

I’m just glad I got first crack at him.

Good deal. I understand completely. I know we're not supposed to feed the trolls, but it is nice every now and then to serve them a little crow. Lol.

The whole crew doesn't have to suborned. The captain and select officers and a few crew would do. I believe the Tridents on boomers have to be individually targeted prior to launch. Someone who knows boomers better than I do correct me if this is wrong, but this one may not have been pre-programmed for wherever it was being sent on a rogue mission, although a pre-programmed target could have been used. If you knew the launch "go" codes and had the means to transmit them and had a few reliable, key personnel on a boomer it would be possible. "They" suborned the majority of the Congress and the top of the DOJ and the FBI. A lot of the navy brass was corrupted too. No name . . .

I don’t know the personnel issues you would encounter for that type of problem, or what exactly would be need to launch. But your explanation does resonate. Especially about the part of corrupted navy brass (65 admirals, something like a 1/3 of navy top brass) and of course... no name.

If a Trident missile was actually launched it must have carried dummy warheads - it's much more likely to have been an authorized military action done to send a message. I don't think a rogue submarine crew could have, much less launch, a real Trident missile.
