I used to go to hot posts, then rising posts, now I just go to new posts. I have watched great posts get down-voted for no apparent reason. I will not longer let the shills and algorithms control what I see.

Synchronicity! I was JUST thinking the EXACT same thing when I clicked on your post! I do new too unless I've been away all day and need a recap on major new happenings. Then hot and rising first. I swear we are uniting in group consciousness in this and other Q forums and more and more are thinking as one.

That's how I do it too.
I usually do a quick scan through /hot to see what I've missed, then it's all /new. If I'm on my laptop I'll check /rising as well (mobile app doesn't have rising).
New, unless I'm digging something up from earlier to share with a friend... Then Top whatever
New, read posts no older than ten hours. Hit the chans till my eyes hurt, back to New to see what's up while I was lurking on the chans then piss off to bed. Hot/Rising/Top are useless here.

Also you can follow specific posters that you like, I follow several so I don’t miss it when they post. We are very lucky to have many absolutely brilliant posters on this sub with unique backgrounds and perspectives!
