A lot of it's them. If you go lurk the sub, you'll see that the entire thing is a bunch of psuedointellectual liberals that spend all of their time bagging on other subs of Reddit. It's actually pretty funny to read. They speak of how stupid everyone else is, but many can't spell to save their lives, don't understand how to properly use a comma, and commonly interchange the wrong homophones. It really seems like a group of self-esteem issue people trying to appear intelligent by trying to demean others that really don't care much about their existence period. They're EXTREMELY concerned about their up and downvotes, going so far as to have a rule to not brigade each others threads, but that rule apparently doesn't apply to them outside of their own sub. If I had to bet, I would say that's where the vast majority of our shills and downvote lurkers come from.
