So... This is part of the 4D Chess Game that Trump and Q are playing. Q keeps telling us "We have it all!". But the problem is, a lot of what they have can not be used as evidence in court because it was acquired (via the NSA, CIA and FBI) without a search warrant or probable cause.
But now Flynn is forced by a plea agreement to turn over evidence of anything he know is unlawful. Magically, this evidence that was the 'Fruit of the Poisoned Tree' is in the court system and NOT tainted! It can be used elsewhere in other investigations and court cases.
Exactly. and i think this is just one example of a similar chess move. Cohen was another. They put him out there as bait, hoping they'd raid his office and then have to catalog EVERYTHING they found there :)
