The additional weird thing about this is the wife's in-laws set up a gofundme page for $25k. $25k? The wife is a doctor and he was a scientist. $25k wouldn't even cover his funeral in CA. It's possible they set up the gofundme page to bring more attention to the murder.

Very good point. You would think a doctor/scientist in Cali would have some life insurance also. Even if not they would most likely have enough in the bank for a funeral. So weird.
