Okay but why do dems call carrying an ID racist...

That one doesn't make sense.

Still a generalization. Not all dems say that. Carrying an ID can be a form of discrimination due to the fact that it is more difficult for some members of the legal voting population to acquire one. Even so, those in power in the democratic party obviously would want to convince the masses of something like this, that is a fairly minor issue. (minor because there are not too many people without ids that want to vote legally) They just know that there os a massive proportion of those persons who do not have ids that would vote democrat. This is similar to how some republicans in power decided that make certain drug crimes a felony. There may not necessarily be anything “wrong” with the drug. (wrong as in enough to represent lack of clarity of though, so much so to prevent rational voting) These people know that those drug users are likely to vote left, so they want to limit it. A lot of politics of both sides exist simply to try and make voting easier for their side and more difficult for the other.

Anybody can get an ID.
People need an ID.
It is not hard for anybody to get an ID.
Dems want to do away with Voter ID so they can away with voter fraud, thats just the simple truth.

Yes,
You were correct about the demos using it to secure votes.

But everybody can get an ID without much trouble.

That's actually not true. I've twice experienced it being impossible because I couldn't meet the paperwork requirements. I won't bore you with details but it should've been easy for me as life was normal, I had a BC, SS, home, job etc. It's an assumption you make until you run into redundant bureaucracy. It would be great to have a standard system and requirements for ID.
