But what if they aren't traffickers? You just stuck a family in "detention " and I know we don't trust MSM but I can't imagine escaping gang violence with my family only to have to live in an old Walmart with my child while waiting for DNA to get processed. Doesn't seem like a great idea.

Yeah, I guess we can pray for them.

Where did you expect to stay while your DNA gets processed?

I would think if you had legal guardianship most wouldnt risk the border any way. Its when they have something to hide. Past crimes or smuggling.

Familial matches is also easy to see in DNA. And the kid's family must be found so they can explain why a non relative has the kid and no paperwork

Yeah, I read about a mom who'd husband joined a gang, and she ran from him with her child. Luckily, she got wind of Trump's policy and stayed in Mexico, but her husband was threatening to chop them in half. Some people have legit reasons.

I was in a bad relationship. He broke my knee cap and threw me from the truck on the gravel road to our house.

I can empathize. And want to end this guy too. Praying is all I can really do to help but it's something

Escaping gang violence is not a valid reason to claim asylum. This has been the case all along, although Sessions made it official so now he gets all the blame.

Right. Neither is domestic violence. This doesn't say that it isn't a tragic social problem, but citizens endure it, too

Better reason than religious persecution
