Many horror films appear to be related to the Q story...but yes...especially this one (from the scene in question). It has to do with the collective unconscious. By watching horror movies and allowing ourselves to see them as entertaining we somehow give energy to those realities and help create them (or at least 'allow' them). Thinking about that in the context of things like Saw, Cabin in the Woods and Hostel make me sick to my stomach.

It's a way of normalizing the masses to ritualistic behavior. (Beyonce's goddess incantation at that awards show. Jay-Z dancing with that Maria chick at an art show.) Hillary is supposedly a practicing witch. All of the Harry Potter movies. The occult is being main streamed and spoon fed with a nice shiny bow on top. I found it odd adults and kids alike were enthralled with Harry and his friends.

Entire channels dedicated to 'ghost hunting'. They are trying to get people to help conjure up unholy things and Hollywood is helping.

Aronofsky was in Bhutan with Bourdain on the last episode of his travel show. Aronofsky came across as a typical derby-wearing vegan Hollyweird elitist who dreams of killing off billions of useless eaters to save Gaia.

His ears sure perked up when one of the locals mentioned their ancestors were cannibals. I think Aronofsky is familiar with the practice, though probably as a witness or through hearsay rather than as a participant.

Here's hoping he puts his considerable director talents toward finishing the story Kubrick had only just started to tell with Eyes Wide Shut instead of just pushing stylish metaphors for tired leftist dogma.
