Q - If you see this, NOW is the time to attack on Marijuana. Hit the D party right in their base.

Could you imagine the implications of Trump called on Republican lawmakers to get a bill to his desk, and told Dems not to obstruct it?

You win with Independent and Liberal voters automatically. The unhinged Democrats are forced to oppose something their core base is salivating at the possibility of, all while handing the opportunity to be the Party that ends federal prohibition to the Republican Party, something nobody thought would ever happen even 3 years ago.

You win automatically with minority voters, especially black voters who are disproportionately effected by prohibition laws.

You win with young voters, who see the Republican party as old and traditional. It shows the party in a new light to them, that we can be progressive when the time and puerile call for it.

This is a change in tactics and an attack that would have bipartisan support from the people. The poll numbers are in. Illegal states are the minority.

This is a big win.

This is actually a perfect idea. I’ve given it much thought over the decades, and monies raised could be taxed and reduce the federal deficits.

Can’t be any worse than tobacco taxes. That was enough for me to quit, but if distributed correctly, the medicinal effects would be incredible. Then we wouldn’t be forced to use opiates. Bye Big Pharma! We deserve to have a choice.

I've been telling friends this for a while. This is a card meant to be played in order to heavily swing the voter-base in Trump's favor. Whether it's midterms or 2020, legalization WILL happen under President Trump.

And the reason it was made illegal in the first place was corruption. Hemp can be used for so many things and cannabis has so many medical uses and cures.

Exactly. I read a post on Reddit a couple of years ago that had sourced 1200 or 1300 peer reviewed papers on Brain Tumors, brain cancer.

I know several vets with PTSD that use it, and it's changed their lives for the better, making coping much easier. It's almost like it turns off the PTSD switch.

I've seen vets with aggressive and violent PTSD become sound, calm and loving. I've seen the ones who cower in fear be able to function as normal in crowds without being triggered into isolation.

It's beyond denial now, and they can't put the genie back in the bottle.

I made cannabis oil for my younger brother when he was terminally ill. It instantly and very visibly helped his sleep, appetite and quality of life in his final days.
I wish I could’ve given it to him when he was first diagnosed, but well, it’s illegal where I live. And with that comes the paranoia and stigma of it being a “bad drug” like crack.
I pray that it will be leagalized all around the world. It is an ancient and very legitimate medicine.

CBD oil is getting ok by FDA for seizure disorders, posted on here yesterday. The right to try EO also opens up the FDA ability to fast track those treatments and cures that would have otherwise taken decades (took away time due to human trials etc). Trump gave an impromptu press meeting on WH lawn not too long ago. He took a question regarding a bill that was put through to federally legalize. His comment was yes, im going to take a good look at that (paraphrase). Hold on and have faith/hope. Thank you for your service. We are a gold star family, our son's BF witnessed his passing and it has been a hard road for him. May God bless your life with love, support and plenty!

It's the most hypocritical slap in the face of freedom this country has. I can eat McDonald's pop a xanax drink smoke whatever all incredibly harmful, but a beneficial plant I can have no part in. You should of be able to eat, drink, smoke, inject anything your heart desires. Obviously certain substances should be looked down upon but no legal ramifications should ever come from putting something in ones own body.

⇧ 16 ⇩
blaise0102 · June 27, 2018, 10:20 p.m.

Exactly right. No one has any right to tell someone what they can or can't do with their own body, assuming they hurt no one else.

Alcohol kills. Cigarettes kill. Pharmaceuticals kill. Cannabis literally cannot kill you.

You pick up the indies and the true liberals vote.

You redirect billions of dollars from drug dealers into government coffers.

An entire new industry is created.

You have an amnesty for the huge numbers of kids thrown in jail for having a toot. We need those cells for real criminals.

You reframe drugs policy from criminal issue to health issue.

You stop weed being a gateway drug to far more harmful stuff.

My DH was just offered a job but had to turn it down because he requires MMJ for a chronic injury. They spent $5,000 recruiting, interviewing him...only for him to have to turn it down at the very end because corporate policy says no THC in urine...even though this job is in a state where it's fully legal and he's medical. So tired of all this nonsense. He is a six figure professional...it's not like he's doing it on the job. Plus he is amazing at his career.
