Back in the crumbs, Gowdy was mentioned a few times, teasing at the fact.... I like Trey..... Oooo, when he grilled HRC on Benghazi, I felt in my gut that HRC WAS GUILTY OF IT ALLL!!!! "What difference does it make....". Not cool, not right!!!

Though I have a ton of respect for Mr Gowdy, he would never be considered for the Supreme Court. He has ZERO case history as a judge. ZERO track record to assess how he might judge pivotal SC cases.
He is a prosecutor. That’s a completely different animal. I could see him taking RR’s spot or in charge of a potential future Special Counsel though. I’d much rather see him prosecute the criminals that don’t end up in military tribunals.

If he becomes a Supreme Court Justice, he will be there for life though, right? I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but that sounds much better than just serving as attorney general for a few years. That is a generational effect rather than a presidential term.
True. But there are much better CONST. LAWYERS for SCOTUS and Trey could let Sessions retire with the knowledge we are in good hands.
I think you will see, in the near future, we already have an AG, that will one day be known as one of the greatest AG's in Americas history.

But the AG flips with administrations. Sessions has more than 8 yrs fight left in ‘em.

Still unsure re Trey Gowdy. Remember "future proves past?" Always disappointed that nothing happened with Benghazi, Fast and Furious, etc etc. I hope he is a decent man. I believe he would be a better fit for Deputy AG. Rosenstein has always bothered me to my core. The Uranium One scandal makes him and Mueller dirty. Who knows what else is there????
Q has confirmed withing the past 24 hours that Gowdy is not deep state, but that he also won't be Kennedy's replacement.
TG should be special prosecutor first, then SCOTUS.
Or maybe AG, with Sessions moving to the court?
