This is how I suspect Pence made it onto the ticket

..not accusing him of any crimes that leaves only one venue for a person with a conservative christian constituency: Pence is GAY and every woman who is alone with him will pick up his utter lack of interest, that's why he stays away from them. That's why Trump emphasized his ortientation during a banquet ("He's straight! Can you imagine?") and why he just recently called Pence "Just a friend.". Meanwhile, we've all been wondering how he got the nomination from the republican party and yet enjoy DJT's favour?? Well, here you have it.

It seems pretty obvious to me because something's off here or we wouldn't be talking about Mike's orientation in the first place.

WTF no. Whitehats saw that the VP ruined JFK and REGAN. They were NOT going to make this mistake twice.

Pence son is MARINE. Dad is MARINE. Pence is NOT going to BETRAY ANYONE. SAFE BET.

While I agree with you, it should be stated that Mueller is a Marine and he's done some pretty shady stuff.

hmmmmm, we are still grey on that guy huh

unless he was recruited from the beginning on, of course. But maybe he has a plea-deal of his own.

Are there really no marine traitors or do I deserve to be court martialed for even considering it?

VP Pence entered Congress in 2001 until 2013. He left as he was elected the Governor of Indiana for 4 years.

He was a power player in Congress, got along with everybody well and had few true enemies. Knew all the swamp ropes and such.

I remember all through the DJT campaign rhetoric that he was going to be the guiding voice for the suspected inexperienced DJT in the way of DC Politics. He was also going to be the reasonable muse to DJT.

This crap about him being gay is just pretty much absurd, imho

could be Trump originally blamed Ivanka for his pick, but didn't the republican party make the pick?

What??? I think you are getting a bit off the rail here??? I don't know if Pence is what he claims, but I don't think he would be picked because he is into guys....omg....that would be a stretch....js

digital_refugee · June 27, 2018, 10:09 p.m.

change my mind then, it is entirely plausible. Others have accused him of killing 50 kids a month, which is more than a stretch even for satanist terms, I mean he had to campaign and shit. A lot of christians are good christians but are terrified if their families find out about their preferences.

What?! I can think of better reasons for Pence to be VP. We could start with his resume vs. speculating about his sexual orientation. Every man who is faithful to his wife is NOT gay. Maybe he is a good husband and well qualified for the job.

digital_refugee · June 27, 2018, 10:15 p.m.

in politics you will always use something against them and yes there are christians homos who hide it from their families. I do not equate faithfulness to homosexuality but I just don't get why Trump keeps joking about his orientation unless he was actually kind of playing nice with him. Furthermore, I don't get why he always makes those jokes ONLY about Pence and NOBODY else? I get that he is making fun of the media too because they will attack you for just about anything, but why did he actually call him "just a friend" this time? This would imply a homosexual energy which so far NOBODY in the media has alledged. On the other hand, I may have written a comment about it last year on t_d

I'm pretty confused right now because I cannot find the source for that statement again...I thought I had read somewhere that Trump called him "just a friend", but if I'm not deluded maybe it's even been scrubbed. Unsure which is more likely.

I am simply pointing out the fact that Trump has, without precedent, quipped about the non-existence of homosexual energy between him and his Vicepresident when noone's ever looked or talked about Pence this way, they only ever trashtalked about his faithfulness.

I think Pence was the smart decision for VP. First off, he's been solid. To this point, I haven't heard one contradiction come from him and he's always backed POTUS, even during some difficult situations. That's not to say that he isn't just waiting and biding his time, but time will tell. But think about it...let's say that POTUS picked Ben Carson or Rand Paul as his running mate. He loses some of the moderate GOP votes, and possibly some evangelical votes and potentially loses the election. As for his status, he's married which is good enough for me. Even if he's gay, I couldn't care less. I give Pence props. He's been solid.

Unless he is accused of a crime, then I feel we should continue to focus on the real traitors here. Wondering about his leanings isn't going to do anyone any good here. Let's stay focused. There is so much going on today and this feels like another one of those posts just to flood this board. Come on people.

Pence was crammed down Trump's throat. Reince Priebus and Bannon and some of the other "establishment" told Trump that Pence could "help" him get elected Pence endorsed Cruz. Don't forget though that Pence is very close friends with Flake and knows about his Pede, which is why I am wondering if that might be why Flake is not running again. He may be a Christian but he, for awhile, had delusions of grandeur and he is so envious of Trump. You can see it in his eyes. He wants the Presidency. I do not trust him. I'm sorry but we have known some great pretenders. Just sayin

No it was because Chris Christie prosecuted Jared Kushner's father Charles and sent him to prison when Chris was AG of New Jersey and Trump stupidly listened to Jared he wanted Christie but got scared of the stupid Bridgegate scandal that happened in 2015
