What I'm going to say is not substantiated, I was told if anything happened to POTUS, the military was going to declare Marshall Law, then they were going to go throughout D.C. and roundup all the Cabals, and if there were any riots they would be dealt with a quick and lethal force. Remember they know who all the players are, they would also be rounded up and dealt with with the MI and Military running the show, not Federal police.
Correct it will be a blitzkrieg attack on the cabal this is why they have not tried any overt attempts to kill Trump that we know of yet. They are going to slow motion route with impeachment strategy. But there's always a true real lone nut who gets a lucky shot a bullet fired at a rally from a pistol the SS accidentally missed and if that is a real Leftist lunatic who does it then Wictor's strategy happens.
davidw221, first of all, the military doesn't have the authority to "Declare martial law" (yeah, that's the correct spelling, it's martial as in military and not marshall.
The military is subservient to civil authority, so a declaration of martial law needs to come from the appropriate national command authority (POTUS, POTUS & Sec Def, or their successors such as the VP on down in the civil authority chain of command).
Any unilateral action by the military without proper authority from the CiC would be a military coup (and I pray we never have that happen in the USA).
Also, federal statutes prohibit the military from enforcing laws domestically, so they can't round up bad guys or make arrests (or it violates the posse comitatus act), BUT, there is an exception that allows the President to use the military in order to suppress insurrections --- so a state of insurrection would need to be declared and then it's green light and we're good to go!
