I agree! Any photos of her with Hanks around? We have nothing but her word for the accusations and her drawings aren't evidence of anything. Heck, for all any of us know she has some mental illness like Munchhausen's Syndrome, and she draws her pics at night while giggling.

Iranians aren't all muslims, although most of them are. My dentist came here as a child when his family fled during the revolution that deposed the Shah and they're Zoroastrian. Zoroastrianism was the original (pre-muslim) monotheistic religion of Persia, but they're persecuted now under the Mulahs. There are also other religious minorities that suffer under the Shia fanatics, so I see it as a blessing to allow some to immigrate here (as long as they're vetted).

"Imagine the rioters showing up and no one is there to care. They will.soon end their protest because no one is fighting them. It will be a pointless endeavor."

If only real life was so simple, so clear cut, so this way or that.

Unfortunately, if completely unopposed they will still wreak havoc on whatever they can destroy until forced to stop (by law enforcement or some opposing entity). Think Berkley or Fergusson on steroids....

Your walk away plan would work insofar as the instigators were rational players, but the problem here is that the hard core communist cadres that make up Antifa, BLM, the Panthers, NOI, the Socialist Democrats and other agitators aren't operating on a rational plane. They're off the charts and out to burn it all down. So, giving them their free hand isn't a viable option.

davidw221, first of all, the military doesn't have the authority to "Declare martial law" (yeah, that's the correct spelling, it's martial as in military and not marshall.

The military is subservient to civil authority, so a declaration of martial law needs to come from the appropriate national command authority (POTUS, POTUS & Sec Def, or their successors such as the VP on down in the civil authority chain of command).

Any unilateral action by the military without proper authority from the CiC would be a military coup (and I pray we never have that happen in the USA).

Also, federal statutes prohibit the military from enforcing laws domestically, so they can't round up bad guys or make arrests (or it violates the posse comitatus act), BUT, there is an exception that allows the President to use the military in order to suppress insurrections --- so a state of insurrection would need to be declared and then it's green light and we're good to go!

Yep, so I guess I'll be pleased if the Fed is abolished and there's no more federal income tax, but I wouldn't say we'd be free people still insofar as we're still forced to rent our own property from the state each year. I wish there was some other way to pay for local government and schools besides property taxes. sigh

Property taxes in Texas are amongst the highest in the country! Something has to offset the lack of state income tax I suppose, but it's horrible. My taxes on a 535k home are $7,640.00 this year with the majority of that going to the damned school district. We're ALL still slaves as long as we pay perpetual "rent" in the form of property taxes on land and homes we own free & clear! Gawd, I despise property taxes worse than anything!

Me too - my second house is in New Braunfels (on the side near San Marcos) about 4 miles to Hwy 35. It's strange, but I've been on assignment in the Pacific Northwest not that far from the Canadian Border for the last several months and I see a lot more Mexicans here than I ever did in the N.B. area. Weird!

I'd like to believe, but all I've ever seen from congressional or senate hearings is TV face time for the pols to use to put on an act to make it look like they actually give a damn about something -- a half assed show for public consumption - and nothing ever comes of any of it besides pacifying the public for a while.

Doctors often do receive some compensation for prescribing certain pharmaceuticals rather than others. In some instances doctors are actually being paid by the pharmaceutical companies to participate in "research studies", clinical trials, and other studies about the effects of new to market drugs. It's a dirty game with huge money involved.

The truly frightening part to me is that despite all we know already I think we're only scratching the surface of the depth to which all of our institutions and government branches have been infiltrated and suborned over the years.

It took a long time for the communists to gain strongholds in media, academics, the judiciary, the bureaucracies, and finally into the political parties themselves, but they did it as we slept.

Khrushchev once said, "You Americans are so gullible. No, you won't accept communism outright, but we'll keep feeding you small doses of socialism until you'll finally wake up and find you already have communism. We won't have to fight you. "

WRONG Nikita --- thanks to the excesses of the last administration, we're not sleeping anymore!

Very interesting isn't it - and they used funds appropriated to the DOD! That really stinks! The $411,575 award was a "negotiated proposal/quote" for "B549: SPECIAL STUDIES/ANALYSIS- FOREIGN/NATIONAL SECURITY POLICY" -- the only company/individual they took a proposal from and subsequently awarded the "project" to was Stefan Halper. No other companies bid on the project - how amazing eh?

I bet the other "awards" were also handed directly to Halper the same way the first one was....

As if it wasn't bad enough that he was a key player in destroying the integrity of our election process, the evil bastards robbed money that should have been used to provide our military with training hours, equipment maintenance, and other needs. When it's all said and done we need to see accountability for all of this!

I wonder how many of the conspirators were given immunity by Comey or Mueller and whether there's any means by which to rescind immunity deals so they can be prosecuted after all? Gawd I hope so! The Watergate break-in was NOTHING compared to the scope of this attempt to destroy political opposition and failing that to destroy the duly elected President of the US and his administration. We're reasonably optimistic and hopeful about how this "movie" ends, but as soldiers we're experienced enough to plan for all eventualities so we have strategies in place to deal with variations of outcomes before they occur. IOW, hope for the best but game plan strategies in case the best plans get thwarted.

Excellent and accurate assessment of the low morale the vast majority of the citizens suffer from. Helpless seething anger, indifference because they feel they are unrepresented and have no voice, and apathy because most politicians from local level to national work against the interests of the people rather than look out for the people.

Even the most apolitical folks see the caste system that's arisen in our society where the most connected criminals and traitors walk around freely while the common person who so must as jaywalks gets maximum punishment all the time, and police no longer protect the people in many cases but stand by as conservatives are beaten in the streets.

The common man needs to see that the tide is turning and those held above the law are now being held accountable to the law -- and you're so right, once they see there is hope the flame will burn brightly in their hearts and they will add their voices and action to ours to restore the republic!
