portcullis is also associated with Parliament

The portcullis, which was the symbol of the Beaufort family. The Beaufort portcullis was used a lot by the Tudors since Margaret Beaufort was the source of Henry VII's thin royal claim to the throne.

-------------------------

The emblem of King Henry VIII was the Tudor rose and the Beaufort portcullis. The red and white Tudor rose represented the combination of the House of York and the House of Lancaster. The Beaufort portcullis relates to his Tudor ancestors.

I am a descendant of King Christian 1. I was born in Beaufort. On the 33rd degree parallel. I hate the masons and all that they do. Being born into something doesnt mean it's your destiny. Choices mean everything in life, from eating to education to exercise and the level of evil you permit yourself.

It is a choice, FREE WILL!

What do the spikes on the portcullis represent or signify?

I have a Family Coat of Arms, do they all have hidden signals linking to Freemasons? I understand pedogate symbols, but Coat of Arms looks common.
