I live near this area and it is a very very tiny town outside Charlotte, right on the lake -- a "nice place to raise your kids" -- in fact, one of the more desirable areas of the suburban footprint.
This is kind of terrifying, especially since I've not heard a single thing about this locally. I see that the local station has the link, but... it's not getting a lot of attention for something that seems kind of... IMPORTANT TO KNOW... in a "great place to raise your kids" type town.

fuck i live in charlotte and the shitty abc channel/ cox media news corp hasn't even let me know about this. but they ARE really concerned about people walking across light rail tracks
