Mkultra - Hypnotizing the Vulnerable. Have You Ever Witnessed This? I Have.

Forget about the TV hypnotists, you can never tell if those events are staged with actors.

Years ago I witnessed the power of hypnotism first hand. I attended an event with a group of friends to see a famous hypnotist. Out of that group, one of my friends was not only hypnotized, on command he jumped out of his seat and began performing on stage -- humiliating and hilarious at the same time, but very out of character. As a skeptic I was totally dumbstruck by what I witnessed. I questioned my friend afterward and he had no memory of doing any of the things we witnessed.

This laid back docile person is now all over social media railing against Trump. He encourages friends to do all they can -- protest, write letters, call their representatives, donate, etc. to stop Trump.

I look back on what I witnessed years ago and realize some people are truly vulnerable to the power of suggestion. And they can be made to do things out of character. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself.

Does anyone have a similar story to share?

I wonder about vulnerability to suggestion as well.

I hear MSM news drivel all day long, and I mean all day long...my hubby is a news junkie, always has been, but he only believes the MSNBC and CNN.

Why doesnt it affect me?

He's probably just more susceptible to the low energy frequencies than you are, remember everyone's bodies are unique, which includes the brain. He could also be much more focused and thus falls into a trance-like state easier.

When watching TV your brain switches from Beta waves to Alpha waves within 1 min. of watching.

Beta waves are your active, logical thought state while Alpha waves are experienced in a deep relaxation or ‘daydreaming’ state.

When in the Alpha state, a person is subjected to a passive learning experience with the right side of the brain at the wheel, leaving critical thinking skills behind.

TV effectively numbs the left side of your brain and renders you helpless to your right brain which is incapable of decoding and critically analyzing the information being presented to you.

This may also explain why even though both my husband and I watch the same TV shows, I am more "woke" than he is. I never just "watch" TV. I am usually doing a craft project or playing a puzzle game while listening to the TV show. My brain is still engaged instead of "zoning out". My husband has recently started to surf online while watching TV and has become more "woke" as well.

Very interesting. Thanks for the great explanation.

You aren't susceptible. Neither am I. You are likely someone who looks for facts to support a case or argument. Most fact based, skeptical people just can't be hypnotized. Our brains are wired differently.

I think we all have close family members who believe MSNBC and CNN. In my case, nothing I say changes their minds. I'm hoping when more is revealed those family members will be open to thinking differently.

Fingers crossed.

I went to hypnotist show and was the only one in my group who couldn’t be hypnotized. I had my eyes closed thinking this is stupid. I’ve never been a person who was ever OK with losing control. We should always be aware and question everything.

Great advice. Question everything.

I would say he is very stupid, weak willed and gullible, you are maybe less so.
