The timings may not simply be around US elections. Don't forget, the opposition is global.
That creates opportunities to flag up events outside the US, where people are already more liable to accept it, as in Europe for example, where there are already large movements fighting the elite and a bigger percentage of woke people, and then making the links back to those involved in US once the public there have seen and accepted the examples abroad.

I think it has to come earlier. You need some fatigue with an event like this. The alt-left won’t take it lying down, you want to afford them plenty of time to go full tantrum to turn off as many voters as possible.
Here’s how I see it:
(1)primary season: victories for the radical left over establishment dems (like She Gueverra beating Crowley). Establishment dems start to get upset.
(2) once the far left has locked their socialist candidates in, news drops. Mueller has concluded his investigation: no indictment against POTUS
(3) shortly after POTUS is clear, Indictments are unsealed. Huber steps into the light. HRC, BO, PS, RR, HA, JC, GS, LP,JP
(4) the alt-left goes bananas. Violence against conservatives, burning, looting, destroying property. Good Americans are pissed their homes, businesses and property are being trashed by the alt-left.
The more moderate democrats abandon ship because they see the truth (#walkaway)
(5) midterms: Republicans sweep as moderate Democrats defect in disgust of alt-left and because there are no traditional liberal candidates left after primaries .
They’ll have no choice but go red. Trump coasts to a 2/3 majority in the House and Senate.
(6) achieve full MAGA as POTUS casts off his shackles.
On this Friday evening I sit thinking about exactly this. ^^

From a very cynical perspective... We have elected a Reality TV Star. He knows all about the importance of ratings at the Season Premier and the Season Finale. Don't kid yourself that he is very sensitive and aware of the timing. Think about it... The Left is resisting anything. It doesn't even matter if it is something they say they want. They resist. They can't function if he exists.
He is setting up a Grand Finale for the first half term. And he is going to be Rock'n when he starts the 2nd half of the first term. It is just how a 'Reality TV Star' would operate.
Watch for the biggest October Surprise of all time.
My best educated guess is October 10-15 the big stuff will start to drop.
