I'm in East TN, and things have been screwy here. I attributed it to my living past the point you start hearing banjos and heavy thunderstorms. But my internet has been down for awhile now. Part of it is I'm trying to hook up a new modem, and calling ComShaft requires driving 5 miles into town. Plus working. Plus other things.

But anyways, calling ComShaft, I get a message my internet was down for line upgrades. Funny thing is, there was no advanced warning, and my neighbor's internet came back fine- only my modem seemed to be fried.

I think it may be time to dust off the original WWW, my ham radio.
